T-BALL RED SOX GAME STORIES
Red Sox won another one, this year. Every child on team played well and hit awesome. Coaches were really impressed with the entire team for this win. Some of the great plays were as follows. Taylor Boatwright caught a throw from Hunter Simmons to 1st base resulting in an out. Gabriel Davis stood tall with every batting chance he got with contact and running the bases, even taking the time to shake a little dance on 2nd for everyone. Dawson Rhodes had numerous stops, with the ball. Clay Lancaster our 3rd baseman was on fire, his batting time; he hit two home runs putting it clear in the grass. Clearing all bases and scoring numerous runs each time. Tyler Sitz also had several stops behind first base and getting them back in. Hunter Simmons ran many down for several outs for the team. Caden Turner and Garnett Smith also showed their team spirit with awesome hits for the team. You can really tell tonight these kids gave it there all.

Red Sox defeats Sidewinders 22-17
Red Sox won another with victory over the sidewinders 22-17 tonight. Red sox coaches were impressed with how far along there team has came from last year. Last year Red sox had a loosing season with only 1 win all year. This year the team wants to win and shows it in the games. The team has learned things from our Coaches this year. Red Sox started the game off well with batting. Clay Lancaster got the first out of the night with an out on 3rd base. Jace Gardner 3rd year player got his first out of the year with an out on 2nd with a tag. Coaches were so proud of him. Hunter Simmons got first home run of night. Dawson Rhodes tried his best for an out at 2nd, but the runner slide and ref called safe. Way to go Dawson. Hunter Simmons got out 1 of 2nd ending by tag. Hunter Simmons also got his very first double play, he snagged a straight hit, then ran down runner @2nd. Taylor Boatwright got an out on 1st, for the 2nd of this year; his dad was so proud he screamed that’s my boy from middle field and went over and congratulated him. Jazzlin got one hit out to out field and she ran as fast as she could to catch. She in the mean time decide she didn’t need her hat are her glove to play this game and threw all that down then threw the ball back in. Clay Lancaster batted in the bottom of the 4th and got a grand slam. Wow this is his first year ever playing. In the 6th ending Clay got 1st out. Hunter Simmons got out on 3rd ran the runner down and beat him back to base. Hunter Simmons got last out of game, which meant red sox won their 3rd game of year.
This would not have happen if the whole team did not do their best and help with these stops. Every child played well. Garrett Smith was so happy he made it to first base he held his arms high, with a victory safe wave. Jayston did his best and ran like “lighting McQueen” for the coaches. Tyler Sites did his role at back up behind first base, awesome job.Way to go Red Sox!

Red Sox wins another with score 22-12 against Dawgs. 1st out of the game was gotten by Taylor Boatwright; Dawson Rhodes got his first out for the year with a tag on a runner. Hunter got 3rd out for the end of the 1st ending. Clay Lancaster also received an out on 3rd base. Hunter Simmons hit several home runs in the game, also did Clay Lancaster. Coach Michael even let the kids from out field come up and play the bases. Dawson Rhodes did really well at playing the mound. Garrett Smith played 3rd base and got really upset when the runner was kicking dirt on him. All the team did wonderful this game, which resulted in another win for us. It was a very warm day.

We had one boy this game that was really ready to play ball. Taylor Boatwright caught 3 throws from Hunter Simmons resulting in 3 outs on first base. He did so good the whole team was really happy. Clay Lancaster also got an out on 3rd with a tag of the runner. Clay Lancaster also got another out on 3rd base and he got the 3rd out also resulting in ending the inning. Dawson got an out on 3rd base from a tag on the runner. Jackson got his 1st out for the year on 2nd base. It was a close game but the red sox stayed up. We had several good hits from our team today. It was the 2nd game we played on Saturday and our babies were tired and hot from the first. Coaches and parents are so proud of the team this year.
Final score was like 28-17
